Fire struck the motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale, then located on Pius St. in the South Side

 
 
1945

Fire struck the first Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Natrona Heights.  The fire gutted the interior but left the walls intact, allowing the parish to repair and reopen the church

 
 
1950

St. Charles School, Donora moved from the basement of the church to the Fifth St. School Building which was rented from the Donora Public School District

Cornerstone laid for the third Our Lady of Peace Church, Conway

Dedication of the first St. Ferdinand Church, Cranberry Twp.

Ground broken for the new motherhouse of the School Sisters of St. Francis
