At a parish meeting, the congregation of St. Paul Cathedral decides that the original church must be torn down due to the undermining of the foundation caused by the lowering of Grant hill.  Before they could act, however, a fire took care of the problem

The pastor of Regina Coeli Parish, North Side purchased the Central Mission Church of the McClure Ave. Presbyterian Church to be renovated as the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Church
