1850

At a parish meeting, the congregation of St. Paul Cathedral decides that the original church must be torn down due to the undermining of the foundation caused by the lowering of Grant hill.  Before they could act, however, a fire took care of the problem

Dedication of the first St. Nicholas Church, North Side

 

 

1918

The first Mass of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, Lyndora celebrated in the German Beneficial Society Hall

 

 

1940

The pastor of Regina Coeli Parish, North Side purchased the Central Mission Church of the McClure Ave. Presbyterian Church to be renovated as the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Church

 

The first St. Paul Cathedral after the surrounding land had been lowered
