Father James Cox, pastor of St. Patrick in the Strip District, leads a Jobless March to Washington, D.C. of 15,000 men to place a petition before the president and Congress for relief for the unemployed

 

 

1941

Fire struck the second St. Adalbert Church, South Side.  Although the fire damaged the church, it was put out quickly enough to save the building

 

 

1964

Dedication of the second St. John the Baptist Church, Unity

 

 

1966

Ground broken for the second St. Cyril of Alexandria School, North Side

 

 

2004

Guardian Angels Parish, West End suspends Mass in St. James Church due to structural damage that made the building unsafe
