Dedication of the second St. Augustine School, Lawrenceville

Diocesan lay teachers met to create a Catholic Teachers Guild to be called the St. Catherine of Siena Guild

 

 

1935

Dedication of St. Mary Czestochowa School/convent, McKeesport, built over the basement church that had been in use since 1918

 

 

1956

Dedication of Our Lady of Fatima School, which included a temporary church

 

 

1957

A fund drive opened to raise $750,000 to build Monongahela Valley High School in the 14 parishes to be served by the new school

The Third Session of the 19th Synod opened
