Our Lady of Joy, Holiday Park
Our Lady of Joy was founded in June of 1968 in response to the growth of population in the suburban community of Holiday Park. The first Mass of the parish was celebrated on June 16, 1968, in the auditorium of Our Lady of Mercy Academy. The parish continued to use the auditorium for Sunday Masses until a church was built. The church was built in 1972 and dedicated in September of 1972.
