St. Alphonsus, Boyers/Murrinsville/West Sunbury
St. Alphonsus was established on August 6, 1993, as part of the diocesan reorganization and revitalization. The parish was formed by merging the parishes of St. Alphonsus, Murrinsville; Epiphany, Boyers; St. Louis, West Sunbury; and St. Paschal, Argentine. Of the four church buildings, St. Paschal was closed and later razed. The other three churches remain open and serve the new parish.
