St. Frances Cabrini, Center Township
St. Frances Cabrini was established on May 24, 1961. The first Mass in the parish was held in a private home on June 4, 1961. This home was used for two weeks then Sunday Masses were celebrated in the Center Bowling Lanes until the church was built. Work on a combined church/school building began on April 14, 1963. Work on the building was completed in December of 1963 and the first Mass was celebrated in the new church on December 22, 1963. The church was formally dedicated on July 19, 1964.
