St. Patrick, McKeesport/Versailles
St. Patrick was established in 1993 as part of the diocese's reorganization and revitalization program. It was formed by merging St. Patrick, Alpsville; St. Denis, Versailles; and St. Perpetua, McKeesport. At first, the new parish closed and later sold St. Patrick Church and kept St. Perpetua and St. Denis Churches open. However, in 1995, the parish conducted a study to determine if they needed two churches. The study decided that two churches were not needed and on November 26, 1995, St. Denis Church closed. The church was later sold.
