Welcome to the Pittsburgh Diocesan
Youth Council Web Site! This page has been put together by the Diocesan
Youth Council, also known as DYC, under the direction of Gary Slifkey with
the intent to introduce you to the youth council, who we represent, and
keep you up to date on the Youth Ministry events happening in the
Pittsburgh Diocese this year.
For those of you from the Pittsburgh Diocese visiting this page in hope of
finding out what is about events going on for the Youth in the Diocese
this year -- You have come to the right place! The Calendar of Events is
now up and running! Check it out.
For many of you visiting this page, this is your first time ever hearing
about the Youth Council. If you live no where near the Pittsburgh Diocese,
are not Catholic, or are unaffiliated with the Pittsburgh Diocese for any
other reason, I still welcome you to stay. Although you may never meet
someone from DYC in real life or be a participant of any of the numerous
activities going on, I encourage you to stay. By staying take the
opportunity to check out what we are about and maybe you will get ideas of
what you to do in your area of the world.
