The Diocese of Pittsburgh realizes that home schooling is a tremendous undertaking that is filled with rich blessings. In order to help you in your vocation of home schooling, an informative packet has been put together for you. The packet contains: Faith Education in the Home in order to help you understand diocesan guidelines regarding home schooling; helpful information about local and national resources; interesting articles on home schooling; and information about the media resources available from the Learning Media Center. Catechetical Curriculum Guidelines - This is a curriculum for catechetical programs preschool through grade eight.
Catholic Vision of Love - A comprehensive chastity education program done by Reverend Kris D. Stubna for teaching Catholic doctrine on human sexuality and family life in grades 5 - 8.
High School Curriculum Guidelines for Religion Courses - The Center has the guidelines that every high school in the diocese has implemented for their catechesis on each grade level.

The Teaching of Christ with Bishop Donald Wuerl - The Center houses every episode for over ten years of catechesis from Bishop Donald Wuerl.
The Sacraments - This video set will be a wonderful resource for parents to instruct their older children as Bishop Donald Wuerl gives a comprehensive overview of the Sacraments.
The Sacrament of Confirmation - This four-part video series by Bishop Donald Wuerl will aid parents as they prepare their child for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Exploring the Teaching of Christ - This is a comprehensive 30-lesson program presenting the rich heritage of the Church as expressed in the Catechism, Sacred Scripture, and the teachings of Vatican II.
A Review of the Catechism of the Catholic Church - This eight video set is a comprehensive video set reviewing the contents of the Catechism of the Catholic Church following the outline of the four pillars.
A Walk Through the Mass - Here is a step-by-step video by Bishop Donald Wuerl that will inspire a greater appreciation of the central focus of our Faith.
