Support Groups for Separated or Divorced Ministry

Do you know someone who is divorced, separated, or widowed?  A Beginning Experience weekend May 2 - 4, 2008 at St. Joseph ’s Spirituality Center in Baden offers an opportunity for healing one’s loss in a caring atmosphere.  The Beginning Experience is supported by the Office for Family Life and Catechesis of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  For information, make a confidential call to Bernadette Warner @ 412-257-0134.  


Divorce Recovery Speaker Series Set to Begin October 8th

 

A four-part speaker series for separated and divorced Catholics will begin Monday, October 8th, 7:30-9:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Family Life Center , Fort Couch Road , Bethel Park. Rev. Ken White, Pastor of St. Thomas More Parish, begins the series by discussing the ABC’s of the annulment process. Subsequent speakers include Rev. John Beaver, pastor, St. Germaine Parish, speaking Monday, November 12th on anger and forgiveness; Monday, February 11, 2008, JoAnn V. Crough, M.A. LPC and Marjorie Mills, M.S. CP, addressing positive ways fro families to overcome obstacles for healing after divorce; and Monday, March 10, 2008, Tomi Herold, Esquire, will present an overview of Pennsylvania law relating to divorce, custody and support.
