The Mission Statement
As members of the Resource Team for the Diocesan Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, we pledge to help the youth of the diocese to develop intrinsic Christian values that will deepen both their involvement in the Church and their relationship with God. By teaching such important values as service, justice, and leadership, we hope to encourage the youth to take charge in their communities and to spread the Good News through their words and actions. We will carry out this mission by promoting, planning, and facilitation diocesan events and retreats that are sponsored by the DYYAM. We trust that through our service, we can help to unite the youth of the diocese and build the kingdom of God.
