Parish History
Risen Lord parish was established in 1993, as part of the diocesan reorganization and revitalization. The parish was formed by the merger of St. Francis Xavier, St. Gabriel the Archangel, St. Leo and Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Three of the four church remained open, with only Our Lady of Perpetual Help being closed. However, as time went on, it became obvious that the parish could not support three church buildings. In 1999 St. Leo and St. Gabriel the Archangel churches were closed.
