The Office for Black Catholic Ministries works collaboratively with diocesan offices, parishes, schools and programs to build a Church that is sensitive and inclusive of persons of African descent. It provides a voice and representation for the local Black Catholic community, including Africans and African-Caribbeans, at the diocesan and national levels and serves as a resource in bringing awareness of the rich spirituality, gifts and culture of Black Catholics within the Church.
