Father Cain, who most recently was pastor of Holy Child Parish in Bridgeville, was ordained in May 1970 by Bishop Vincent Leonard. Father Cain previously served as parochial vicar at St. Sebastian in Ross Township, St. Bernard in Mount Lebanon, All Saints in Etna, spiritual director of St. Paul Seminary in Crafton, and senior priest and administrator of St. Agatha in Bridgeville, which is now part of Holy Child. He also served as dean of the Southwest Deanery.
