Eric Campbell was born on February 29, 1988. He is the son of Merle
and Jody Campbell. Eric has two sisters, Sarah and Michele. Saint
Paul Parish in Butler is Eric’s home parish. He attended Butler
Catholic Elementary School and Butler Intermediate and High Schools,
graduating in 2006. In Fall 2006, Eric was accepted into the priestly
formation program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne
University. Eric is in his first year of college at Duquesne University
and his first year of formation at Saint Paul Seminary.

Saint Ferdinand Parish
Jon Chuba was born on October 27, 1987. He is the son of Stacy Evans
and Thomas Chuba. Jon has one brother, Douglas. Saint Ferdinand
Parish in Cranberry Township is Jon’s home parish. He attended
South Park Elementary and Middle Schools and Mars Area Middle and
High Schools, graduating in 2006. Jon’s most recent employment
was at an Eckerd Store working the register, stocking shelves, etc.
In Fall 2006, Jon was accepted into the priestly formation program
and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
Jon is in his first year of college at Duquesne University and his
first year of formation at Saint Paul Seminary.

D. Donley, B.A.

Saint Bede Parish
Christopher
Donley was born on September 30, 1978. He is the son of Richard
and Maribeth Donley. Chris has three brothers, David, Richard, and
John; and five sisters, Megan, Melissa, Rhodora, Maura, and Kaitlyn.Saint
Bede Parish in Point Breeze is Chris’ home parish. He attended
Saint Bede Elementary School in Point Breeze and Central Catholic
High School in Pittsburgh. Chris attended Boston College for one
year before transferring to Duquesne University, where he graduated
in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Theology.
Chris’ employment has included Summer work in an internship
in the office of Rick Santorum, an event planner at The Prop Shop,
and an internship at Federated Investors. His most recent full-time
employment was as a caseworker/coordinator with Catholic Charities.
In Fall 2005, Chris was accepted into the priestly formation program
and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
Chris is in his second year of pre-theology at Duquesne University
and his second year of formation at Saint Paul Seminary.
Kevin

Saint Alexis Parish
Kevin
Fazio was born on June 19, 1972. He is the son of Donald and Bernadette
Fazio. Kevin has two sisters, Jennifer and Nadine. Saint Alexis
Parish in Wexford is Kevin’s home parish. He attended Poff
Elementary School in Gibsonia before graduating from Hampton High
School in Allison Park. Kevin graduated from John Carroll University,
Cleveland, Ohio, in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He
also obtained an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. Kevin’s
most recent employment was as vice president of sales and marketing
for Diamond Wire Spring Company. In Fall 2006, Kevin was accepted
into the priestly formation program and began studies at Saint Paul
Seminary and Duquesne University. Kevin is in his first year of
pre-theology at Duquesne University and his first year of formation
at Saint Paul Seminary.

Frederick
Gruber was born on December 5, 1983. He is the son of Thomas and
Mildred Gruber. Fred has ten brothers, Thomas, Mark, Timothy, Joseph,
Jonathan, Peter, Lawrence, Danny, Jacob, and Tony; and three sisters,
Anna Catherine, Emily, and Maria. Saint Sylvester Parish in Brentwood
is Fred’s home parish. He attended Saint Sylvester Elementary
School in Brentwood before graduating from Baldwin High School.
Fred graduated from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia,
in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Fred’s most
recent employment was at Kirner’s Catholic Store where he
served as a sales clerk, stocked shelves, etc. In Fall 2006, Fred
was accepted into the priestly formation program and began studies
at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. Fred is in his first
year of pre-theology at Duquesne University and his first year of
formation at Saint Paul Seminary.

Michael
Peck was born on November 16, 1973. He is the son of Robert and
Ann Peck. Michael has one sister, Elizabeth. Saint Bede Parish in
Point Breeze is Michael’s home parish. He attended Longstreth
Elementary School, Log College Middle School, and William Tennent
High School, all in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Michael attended Carnegie
Mellon University, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science
in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Michael’s employment
has included software development positions with Ampac, Claritech,
and Queria. His most recent employment was as a member of the software
development team at AllTek Staffing and Resource Group. In Fall
2005, Michael was accepted into the priestly formation program and
began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. Michael
is in his second year of pre-theology at Duquesne University and
his second year of formation at Saint Paul Seminary.

Michael
Roche was born on September 4, 1978. He is the son of William and
Anna Marie Roche. Michael has two brothers, Joseph and John; and
one sister, Stephanie. Saint Basil Parish in Carrick is Michael’s
home parish. He attended Saint Basil Elementary School, Phillip
Murray Elementary School, and Knoxville Middle School before graduating
from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, Coraopolis. Michael
graduated from Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in
2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting.
Michael’s most recent employment was with Grossman, Yanak
and Ford LLP where he most recently served as a senior accountant.
In January 2006, Michael was accepted into the priestly formation
program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.

Michael
Sedor was born on March 27, 1983. He is the son of Virginia and
the late Leonard Sedor. Michael has two brothers, John and Barry;
and one sister, Leigh Anne. Saint Louise de Marillac Parish in Upper
Saint Clair is Michael’s home parish. He completed his elementary
education in the Upper Saint Clair School District before graduating
from Upper Saint Clair High School. Michael graduated from Carnegie
Mellon University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. Michael’s
most recent employment was as a teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon
University. In Fall 2006, Michael was accepted into the priestly
formation program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne
University. Michael is in his first year of pre-theology at Duquesne
University and his first year of formation at Saint Paul Seminary.

Verona was born on June 17, 1981. He is the son of Stan and Molly
Verona. Adam has one sister, Hillary. Saint Paul Cathedral in Oakland
is Adam’s home parish. He attended C.G. Johnson Elementary
School in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, and DuBois Central Christian
High School in Dubois, Pennsylvania. Adam graduated from Gannon
University, Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts
in History and certification in Paralegal. Adam’s employment
has included positions with Knox Law Firm, the law firm of Paul
J. Gitnik and Associates, and the Bureau of Consumer Protection
in the Attorney General’s Office, all in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In Fall 2005, Adam was accepted into the priestly formation program
and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.

Daniel
Waruszewski was born on September 20, 1987. He is the son of Daniel
and Rose Waruszewski. Dan has two brothers, Robert and Thomas. Dan
is a member of the Latin Mass Community at Holy Wisdom Parish, North
Side. He attended Saint Athanasius Elementary School in West View,
Saint Teresa of Avila Elementary School in Perrysville, Aquinas
Academy in the North Hills, and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High
School in Coraopolis. Dan’s employment has included working
at Chic-Fil-A for one and a half years. In Fall 2005, Dan was accepted
into the priestly formation program and began studies at Saint Paul
Seminary and Duquesne University. Dan is in his second year of college
at Duquesne University and his second year of formation at Saint
Paul Seminary.

Brian
Wolford was born on December 1, 1978. He is the son of Edward and
Elaine Wolford. Brian has one sister, Jennifer. Saint Gregory Parish

Harmony, and graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1997. Brian
graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2001 with a Bachelor
of Arts in Government and International Studies. Brian’s most
recent employment was at Saint Gregory Parish in Zelienople where
he was involved with clerical and pastoral support activities. In
Fall 2006, Brian was accepted into the priestly formation program

Nicholas
Argentieri was born on October 3, 1979. He is the son of John and
Nancy Argentieri. Nick has one brother, Dominic. Saint Wendelin
Parish in Carrick is Nick’s home parish. He attended Saint
Wendelin Elementary School in Carrick and Baldwin High School. Nick
graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, with
a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. All of Nick’s jobs have
been part-time or seasonal. They include: store clerk at John McGinnis
& Company; circulation desk at Allegheny College Audio/Video
Department; Intern in the Crawford County Mental Health Awareness
Program; and Sarah Heinz House Residential Camp Counselor. In Fall
2002, Nick was accepted into the priestly formation program and
began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. He
completed the pre-theology program and graduated with a Master of
Arts in Philosophy for Theological Studies in May 2004. Nick began
theological studies at the North American College, Rome, in Fall
2004 and is in his third year. Nick spent the Summer of 2006 in
a pastoral experience at Saint Teresa of Avila Parish, Perrysville.

Dorner was born on April 19, 1973. He is the son of Adrianne Frollini
and the late Ernest Dorner. Bill has one sister, Elizabeth. Saint
Mary of the Assumption Parish in Glenshaw is Bill’s home parish.
He attended Providence Heights Alpha School in Allison Park, and
Shaler Area High School in Pittsburgh. Bill attended Clarion University
of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
He also obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University
of Pittsburgh. Bill’s employment has included work as a substitute
schoolteacher in various school districts as well as a bookseller
and member of the inventory management team at Borders Books and
Music. In Fall 2001, Bill was accepted into the priestly formation
program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
He completed the pre-theology program and graduated with a Master
of Arts in Philosophy for Theological Studies in May 2003. Bill
entered Saint Vincent Seminary in Fall 2003 and is in his fourth
year of theological studies. Bill was ordained to the Order of Deacon
on June 3, 2006, in Saint Bernadette Church, Monroeville, by Bishop
Paul Bradley. Bill completed his Summer pastoral experiences at
Saint Bernadette Parish, Monroeville. He is currently assigned for
a deacon pastoral experience at Madonna of Jerusalem, Saint Mary,
and Saint John Cantius Parishes in Sharpsburg.
Robert

Robert
Fleckenstein was born on February 6, 1977. He is the son of Wayne
and Mary Kathryn Fleckenstein. Rob has one sister, Julie. Incarnation
of the Lord Parish, North Side, is Rob’s home parish. He attended
Saint Angela Merici Grade School in White Oak, McKeesport Central
Catholic, Saint Joseph Regional School in Port Vue, and Serra Catholic
High School in McKeesport. Rob attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania,
graduating in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.
Rob’s employment has included work as assistant manager at
Spencer Gifts, youth minister at Saint Columbkille Parish in Imperial
and Saint Joseph Parish in O’Hara Township, and most recently
as liturgy coordinator at Incarnation of the Lord Parish, North
Side. In Fall 2004, Rob was accepted into the priestly formation
program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
He completed the pre-theology program and graduated with a Master
of Arts in Philosophy in May 2006. Rob entered Saint Vincent Seminary
in Fall 2006 and is in his first year of theological studies. Rob
has been involved in a Summer pastoral experience at Saint Joseph

Joseph
Freedy was born on April 1, 1979. He is the son of Henry and Judy
Freedy. Joe has two sisters, Susan and Anne, and one brother, Tucker.
Another brother, David, is deceased. Saint Thomas More Parish in
Bethel Park is Joe’s home parish. Joe attended Saint Thomas
More Elementary School, Independence Middle School, and Bethel Park
High School, all in Bethel Park. He graduated from the State University
of New York at Buffalo in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Joe’s employment has included part-time work as a cashier
at a convenience store, pizza delivery, and a tour guide at the
University at Buffalo. In Fall 2002, Joe was accepted into the priestly
formation program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne
University. He completed the pre-theology program and graduated
with a Master of Arts in Philosophy for Theological Studies in May
2004. Joe began theological studies at the North American College,
Rome, in Fall 2004 and is in his third year. In the Summer of 2006,
Joe completed a Spanish language program in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Thomas
Gillespie was born on December 5, 1967. He is the son of Robert
and Madeline Gillespie. Tom has three brothers, Bob, Greg, and Jeff,
and one sister, Patti. Incarnation of the Lord Parish, North Side,
is Tom’s home parish. He attended Annunciation Grade School,
North Side, and North Catholic High School. Tom graduated from the
University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in 1990 and
received an M.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School
of Medicine in 1996. Tom’s most recent employment was as a
psychiatrist with the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Fort Jackson, South
Carolina, from July 2000 until July 2004. In Fall 2004, Tom was
accepted into the priestly formation program and began studies at
Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. He completed the pre-theology
program and graduated with a Master of Arts in Philosophy in May
2006. Tom began theological studies at Theological College and The
Catholic University of America in Fall 2006 and is in his first
year. Tom recently spent the Summer at Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful
Virgin Parish in Whitehall.

Rock High School. Dan’s employment prior to entering the seminary
included Summer work stocking shelves at Big Lots. In Fall 2001,
Dan was accepted into the priestly formation program and began studies
at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. He graduated from
Duquesne University in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
Dan entered Saint Vincent Seminary in Fall 2005 and is in his second
year. Dan spent the Summer of 2006 in a pastoral experience at Saint
Benedict the Moor Parish, Hill District.

Holy Innocents Parish
John
Naugle was born on January 31, 1981. He is the son of Rose Volgen
and is an only child. Holy Innocents Parish in Sheraden is John’s
home parish. He attended Saint Agnes Elementary School in Pittsburgh
and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. John
graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe with a Bachelor
of Science in Economics and Mathematics. John’s employment
has included work study as a tutor and grader at Saint Vincent College
and as a cashier at Sears. Most recently he served as an intern
in the Center for Data Analysis at the Heritage Foundation in Washington,
DC, where he did research and statistical analyses. In Fall 2003,
John was accepted into the priestly formation program and entered
the pre-theology program at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
He graduated in May 2005 with a Master of Arts in Philosophy. John
entered Theological College and The Catholic University of America
in Fall 2005 and is in his second year. John spent the Summer of
2006 in a pastoral experience at Saint Camillus Parish in Neshannock
Township.
Brian

Brian
Noel was born on October 24, 1969. He is the son of William and
Kathleen Noel. Brian is an only child. Saint Paul Cathedral in Oakland
is Brian’s home parish. He attended Stevens Forest Elementary
in Dayton, Ohio; Saint Peter Elementary in Huber Heights, Ohio;
Gosnell Middle School in Gosnell, Arizona; Eisenhower Middle School
in San Antonio, Texas; and Winston Churchill High School in San
Antonio, Texas. Brian also attended Carnegie-Mellon University in
Pittsburgh; San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas; the University
of Texas at San Antonio; Austin Community College in Austin, Texas;
the University of Texas at Austin; and the University of Maryland
in College Park, Maryland. He obtained an Associate of Science Degree
in Mathematics from Austin Community College and a Bachelor of Science
in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland.
Brian’s past employment has included work as a purchaser at
Ginny’s Printing and Copying in Austin, Texas; assistant office
manager at Catholic Charities USA in Alexandria, Virginia; teaching
at the Atonement Academy in San Antonio, Texas; and database coordinator
at the Texas State Historical Association in Austin, Texas. Most
recently Brian was employed as a software engineer at CTR Systems
in Pittsburgh. In Fall 2004, Brian was accepted into the priestly
formation program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne
University. He completed the pre-theology program and graduated
with a Master of Arts in Philosophy in May 2006. Brian began theological
studies at the North American College, Rome, in Fall 2006 and is
in his first year. Tom recently spent the Summer at Saint Alexis
Parish in Wexford.
Deacon
Barry P. O'Leary, M.Ed.

Saint Paul Cathedral Parish
Barry
O’Leary was born on May 11, 1949. He is the son of the late
Thomas and Helen O’Leary. Barry has four sisters, Shirley,
Ann, Susan, and Nancy; and two brothers, Richard and Robert. Another
brother, Kenneth, is deceased. Saint Paul Cathedral in Oakland is
Barry’s home parish. He attended Saint James Elementary School
in Wilkinsburg and Saint Anselm High School in Swissvale. Barry
graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts
in English Literature. He also obtained a Master of Science in Education
degree from Duquesne University and a Masters in Education from
Carlow College. Barry has held numerous teaching positions and has
served as principal at several schools throughout the Diocese of
Pittsburgh. His most recent position was as principal of Saint Basil
Elementary School in Carrick. In Fall 2002, Barry was accepted into
the priestly formation program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary
and Duquesne University, completing the pre-theology program in
May 2003. Barry entered Saint Vincent Seminary in Fall 2003 and
is in his fourth year of theological studies. Barry was ordained
to the Order of Deacon on June 3, 2006, in Saint Bernadette Church,
Monroeville, by Bishop Paul Bradley. Barry completed his Summer
pastoral experiences at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Beaver.
He is currently assigned for a deacon pastoral experience at Saint
Pius X Parish and Our Lady of Loreto Parish in Brookline.

Michael
Ruffalo was born on April 22, 1981. He is the son of Raymond and
Carol Ruffalo. Michael has one two sisters, Carla and Gina. Saint
Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Parish in Whitehall is Michael’s
home parish. He attended Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Elementary
School in Whitehall, Whitehall Elementary School, and graduated
from Baldwin High School. Michael’s employment has included
part-time Summer work during high school and college. Michael entered
the priestly formation program at Saint Paul Seminary and began
studies at Duquesne University in Fall 1999. He graduated from Duquesne
University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Classical Civilization
in May 2003. Michael began theological studies at the North American
College, Rome, in Fall 2003 and is in his fourth year. Michael’s
Summer parish assignment was Saint Anne Parish in Castle Shannon.
Kim
J. Schreck, M.A.

Saint Valentine Parish
Kim
Schreck was born on September 15, 1978. He is the son of Kim D.
Schreck and Rebecca Schreck. Kim has one brother, Daniel, and two
sisters, Marianne and April. Saint Valentine Parish in Bethel Park
is Kim’s home parish. He attended Saint Pius X Elementary
School in Pittsburgh, Saint Valentine Elementary School in Bethel
Park, and graduated from Bethel Park Senior High School. Kim attended
the University of Pittsburgh for one year before transferring to
the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology. Kim’s employment
prior to entering the seminary has included: Evey True Value Hardware;
Resident Assistant at the Franciscan University of Steubenville;
and assisting his father in the maintenance department for the PPG
buildings. In Fall 2001, Kim was accepted into the priestly formation
program and began studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University.
Kim attained the Master of Arts in Philosophy for Theological Studies
from Duquesne University in May 2003. In Fall 2003, Kim was accepted
for theological studies at the North American College in Rome and
is in his fourth year. During Summer 2004, Kim participated in the
chaplaincy program of the United States Navy. His Summer parish
experiences have taken place at Saint Maurice Parish in Forest Hills.

Nicholas
Vaskov was born on March 27, 1983. He is the son of Constance and
Eugene Vaskov. Nick has one sister, Victoria. Saint Bernadette Parish
in Monroeville is Nick’s home parish. He attended Saint James
Elementary School in Wilkinsburg and Central Catholic High School
in Pittsburgh, graduating in 2001. Nick’s employment has included
being a dishwasher at Churchill Country Club, a receptionist for
a law firm, and an organist at Saint Bernadette Parish and Saint
Mary of Mercy Parish. After attending Duquesne University for one
year, Nick was accepted into the priestly formation program in Fall
2002 and entered Saint Paul Seminary. Nick graduated from Duquesne
University in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. In
Fall 2005, Nick was accepted for theological studies at the North
American College, Rome, and is in his second year.

Michael
Zavage was born on November 29, 1982. He is the son of Michael and
Joan Zavage. Michael has three sisters, Erin, Kimberly, and Sara.
Saint Hugh Parish in Carmichaels is Michael’s home parish.
He has attended Nemacolin Elementary School, Carmichaels Elementary
School, and graduated from Carmichaels High School. Michael attended
Waynesburg College for one year before transferring to Duquesne
University. Michael’s employment has included Summer and part-time
work at Shop ‘n Save as well as cutting grass. In Fall 2002,
Michael was accepted into the priestly formation program and began
studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Duquesne University. He graduated
from Duquesne University in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in
Philosophy. Michael entered Saint Vincent Seminary in Fall 2005
and is in his second year of theological studies. Michael spent
the Summer of 2006 in a pastoral experience at Saint Gregory Parish
in Zelienople.
