Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, M.R.E., M.Div.
Father Yuhas is a diocesan priest for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. After completing studies at Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, he was ordained as a priest in 1997. Father Yuhas served as Parochial Vicar at Saint John the Baptist Parish in Plum Boro. In 1999, Father Yuhas served as Personal Secretary and Master of Ceremonies to then Bishop Donald Wuerl until 2001. Father Yuhas served as Parochial Vicar at Saints John and Paul Parish in Wexford and Saint Mary Parish in Glenfield from 2001 to 2002.
The past six years, Father Yuhas has been involved in priestly formation for the Diocese of Pittsburgh serving as Vice Rector and Dean of Studies at Saint Paul Seminary and Director of the Department for Worship from July 2002 to February 2008. In February 2008, Father Yuhas was appointed by Bishop David A. Zubik to serve as Master of Ceremonies to the Diocesan Bishop. Father Yuhas continues his responsibilities as Director of the Department for Worship and Diocesan Master of Ceremonies. Father Yuhas is involved with a number of boards and commissions in the diocese. |
