Susan Muto, Ph.D., is executive director of the Epiphany Association and dean of the Epiphany Academy of Formative Spirituality. Dr. Muto has taught the literature of ancient, medieval, and modern spirituality for over forty years, and lectures internationally on Judeo-Christian teachings of the formation tradition. She has written over thirty books including A Feast for Hungry Souls: Spiritual Lessons from the Church’s Greatest Masters & Mystics, which won first place in the Spirituality category in the 2021 CMA Book Awards from Catholic Media Association. Her latest book is Enter the Narrow Gate: St. Benedict’s Steps to Christian Maturity. All are available at www.epiphanyassociation.org. Articles by Dr. Muto have appeared in Mount Carmel, The Priest Magazine, Human Development and Catholic Library World among others. In 2014 Dr. Muto received the Aggiornamento Award from the Catholic Library Association in recognition of an outstanding contribution made to ministry modeled by Pope St. John XXIII.
Bill Keimig is the Assistant Director of the Catechetical Institute at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. For 15 years, he served as the Director of Religious Education in Clinton, Maryland, and a master catechist in the Hearts Aflame and Faith Foundations catechist formation programs for the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. Dr. Keimig is a national speaker at major venues in over 60 dioceses. He served for nine years as the Director of the Association for Catechumenal Ministry (ACM) which trains clergy and laity in the RCIA ministry, and was the managing editor of ACM’s series of RCIA texts used in thousands of parishes throughout the world. He served for nine years as a volunteer counselor for a local crisis pregnancy center. Dr. Keimig holds a Doctorate in Ministry from the Catholic University of America, a Master’s Degree in Theology and Christian Ministry with a Certification in Catechetics from Franciscan University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Management from the University of Maryland in environmental policy. He and his wife, Heather, have six children: Rose, William, Julianna, Theodore, Elizabeth, and Gregory.
