Business Manager, Resurrection Parish, Bethel Park area
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Business Manager for Resurrection Parish. This is a full time, in-person, position location in the Bethel Park area. This position performs specific duties in finance, plant management, and office management.
Qualifications for the Business Manager position include:
Familiar with norms of Canon Law regarding parish administration and the temporal goods of the church;
Knowledge of personnel issues, including policies, procedures, selection, insurance, employee benefits, etc.;
Knowledge of safety and security issues;
Knowledge of principles of accounting;
Knowledge of the parish accounting system according to diocesan policies and procedures;
Familiar with pertinent and applicable civil law in all levels of government;
Knowledge of the informal networks of communication and influence within the parish and the Diocese;
Familiar with supervisory procedures.
Able to do comparative pricing and purchasing techniques.
Proficient in the use of computers and knowledge of the common applications;
Able to demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills;
Proficient in writing and editing.
