Out of an abundance of caution, all students at Butler Catholic and Saint Wendelin schools (Butler, PA) are adding remote learning days around the Christmas break.
All students will participate in remote learning effective Monday, December 14 through Friday, December 18, 2020. Christmas break will be honored as scheduled from Monday, December 21 through Sunday, January 3, 2020. Remote learning will begin again on Monday, January 4, through at least Friday, January 8, 2021. Administrators will evaluate the situation at that time and keep school families informed of further plans.
“Since our return from Thanksgiving break, the number of students participating in virtual learning has significantly increased, some by parent request, others by contact tracing. We are grateful to be able to continue to deliver quality Catholic education to our students during this time,” said Sister John Ann Mulhern, Butler Catholic School principal.
“We are so grateful for the cooperation and support of our teachers and school families as we’ve worked together through the COVID-19 pandemic. We pray for everyone’s safety, health, and happiness during this Holy Season,” said JoLynn Clouse, Saint Wendelin Catholic School principal.
