Job Title: Music Ministry Coordinator      Status: Full-Time                  
Job Description: 
The Music Ministry Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of the parish’s music ministry at St. Frances Cabrini and Our Lady of Fatima Church sites, ensuring that it enhances the Sacred Liturgy in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.   
 
Position Details: 
●    Full-time, 40 hours per week 
●    Salary is based on education, experience, and demonstrated ability 
●    Benefits in accordance with Diocesan and Parish policies 
●    Hours include weekends, Holy Days, and other liturgical celebrations as needed ● Reports directly to the Pastor on all liturgical matters 
Key Responsibilities: 
●    Schedule organists and cantors for all parish liturgies and devotions, including weddings, funerals, and solemn vespers 
●    Direct and rehearse Church Choirs and cantors; recruit and train new members 
●    Accompany congregational singing at all liturgies   
●    Administrative duties related to planning liturgies and maintaining organs, microphones and sound systems across the parish 
●    Attend staff or committee meetings as needed  
●    Maintain a diverse repertoire of sacred music, including traditional hymns and polyphony suitable for a reverent celebration of the Novus Ordo Liturgy  
Qualifications & Skills:  
●    Practicing Catholic with deep knowledge of and fidelity to the teachings of the Church ● Degree in Music (preferred)  
●    Proficiency in organ playing and choral conducting 
●    Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills 
●    Familiarity with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal and the Church’s guidelines on Sacred Music as outlined by the Second Vatican Council  
●    Ability to play for the Traditional Latin High Mass when offered at St. Titus (preferred)
