We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team at Archangel Gabriel Catholic School in Robinson Township. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for interacting with elementary and middle school students and introducing them to reading music and playing instruments. You will also be responsible for teaching musical technique to our students through engaging and creative music classes and introducing students to a variety of different musical genres. The ideal candidate should have a background in music education, an understanding of music theory, and the ability and enthusiasm to inspire students to develop their musical talents.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver music lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and provide opportunities for students that encourage musical growth.
- Create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment that fosters creativity and musical development.
- Introduce students to a variety of musical genres and styles as well as the various elements associated with them.
- Collaborate with AGS parents and colleagues to support student learning and growth.
- Candidates must possess a valid Music Education PK-12 or Music K-12 certification (Special Education Certification not required)
- Proficient in piano
- Available to teach two full days a week
