On behalf of the Member Board of the Catholic High Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Inc., Bishop David Zubik has appointed Joseph Wilson, 48, as President of North Catholic High School (Cranberry Township) effective November 22, 2021. The Catholic High Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Inc. Board of Directors along with the North Catholic High School Board of Directors recommended Wilson for the position.
“I am confident that you will continue to build upon the fine tradition of excellence that has always been a hallmark at North Catholic High School,” Bishop Zubik wrote to Wilson in an appointment letter. “May the Lord, in His goodness, continue to bless you as you begin this new role.”
Wilson is a graduate of North Catholic High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the McAulty College at Duquesne University and his Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at the Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College. He has served as the business manager at North Catholic since 2003. Before that, Wilson worked as the business manager at Bishop Canevin High School and Saint Anthony School Programs.

As President, Wilson will focus on the crucial responsibilities of development, fundraising and the overall financial management of the school. North Catholic Principal, Michael Palcsey, will continue to have primary responsibility for day-to-day academic affairs of the school.
