Part-time Bookkeeper Job Posting Seton LaSalle Catholic High School is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to work 24-32 hours per week. Flexible scheduling with some remote work is an option. The bookkeeper would work closely with the Director of Finance and the rest of the Business Office staff. Responsibilities include the following: Job Responsibilities
Prepare and process payroll
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Prepare and enter journal entries
Prepare and process all cash receipts
Prepare bank deposits
Process all employee change events for payroll and benefits
Process tuition deposits
Process all accounts payable transactions
Process donation deposits and acknowledgement letters
Prepare cash inflow and outflow statements for sports teams and clubs
Assist with monthly internal financial statement preparation
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum Associates Degree in accounting or business
At least one year of experience in a bookkeeping position
Experience with non-profit accounting preferred
Produce work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy
High attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Proficient to expert Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Blackbaud Financial & Fundraising Accounting Systems a plus
