Bishop Zubik announces the following clergy appointments:
RETIREMENT
In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy, and at his request, the Reverend John M. Bachkay has been granted permission to resign from his current assignment to Replacement Ministry effective September 1, 2021. At the same time, Father Bachkay has been granted permission to begin retirement and remain in private residence.
In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy, and at his request, the Reverend Mark W. Glasgow has been granted permission to resign from his current assignment as Military Chaplain to the patients at the VA Hospital in Oakland, effective September 1, 2021. At the same time, Father Glasgow has been granted permission to begin retirement and take up a private residence.
In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy, and at his request, the Reverend Gary W. Oehmler has been granted permission to begin retirement effective October 1, 2021 and take up a private residence.
