School of Missionary Discipleship

The School of Missionary Discipleship (SMD) is a path of formation for adults that leads them through the three stages of spiritual growth:

1. Initial relationship with Christ (Ignite! program)
2. Deepening relationship with Christ (On Fire! program)
3. Mission (Equip! program)

SMD provides a structure that can be implemented in any of the new parish groupings established through On Mission for the Church Alive! to make disciples for Jesus Christ and help to revitalize parishes.  It equips parish leadership to cultivate a culture of missionary discipleship within our parish communities.
